Riddle Lodge #315

Riddle Lodge, the oldest fraternal organization in East Liverpool, was chartered by the Grand Lodge of Ohio in 1859. Established by several prominent community members, the lodge was named after its first Worshipful Master, Joshua Riddle, who played a pivotal role in its founding. Since its inception, Riddle Lodge experienced a steady growth in membership, reaching 228 by 1910 and peaking at 525 members in 1966, before settling into a more modest membership today.

As an active and integral part of the community, Riddle Lodge dedicates 70% of its member dues and donations to support local initiatives. These contributions have included recognizing outstanding community leaders, providing scholarships to local high school seniors, supporting the United Way, local youth sports teams, Cub Scouts, Special Olympics, cancer research foundations, and various charitable organizations.

East Liverpool Lodge # 681 was chartered by the Grand Lodge of Ohio in 1922. Established by local residents who shared a common bond working at Crucible Steel Mill in Midland PA. Since its inception, the lodge experienced a steady growth in membership, reaching 212 by 1950 and peaking at 335 members in 1979, before settling into a more modest membership today.

As an active and integral part of the community, East Liverpool Lodge participants in several community activities each year and donates to support local initiatives. These contributions have included providing scholarships to local high school seniors, the Ohio Masonic Community, the Grand Lodge Charitable Foundation and various charitable organizations.
